Mr. Morimoto was generous with his time and his knowlege and I am very grateful and inspired to pursue natural colors in my own Indigo grows wild all over the forest where there are open sunny areas It's hard to believe that such a rich and strong dark blue results from processing these tender green leaves
Mr. Morimoto is an excellent draftsman and artist and teaches watercoloring to some of the weavers A workshop scene Young child in the hammock swinging by his mother
Perhaps this child will follow in her mother's footsteps recording the names of some plants which produce color and also grow well in Indonesia Recieving the generous gift of indigo seeds, two varieties, which I will plant in my garden in Central Java
